I hate people who drive helicopters, they always act
like they are really cool and never crash and stuff, so
this is hilarious :D

So people complain often that there is not enough blood
and stuff on the wonderful world of dump. There it
is!!!
Now say something nice the gentleman and say thank
you.
Bad man, burns are worse than cuts and broken bones,

that looked like the tail-blade cut out. dunno like
might have been a human error but i think the
tail-blade cut out because the chopper started to spin
on the way down, which is a very typical sign of that
kind of failure. :o

It has to be scary to be around a helicopter crash.
helicopters don't seem like there worth the risk.

Most of the victims were russians and germans, they ask
for a few guys if anybody saw them. I don't think they
were trying to land, I think they crashed after
liftoff.

Well it's an old ex-soviet chopper, operating and
maintained in one of the poorest countries on earth,
and flying right at its altitude limit - a lousy
combination.
With the thin air that high up (about 5,500m), you
don't get as much lift, the engine has to work extra
hard, and it barely flies at all.
From the reports I read, they did a quick pickup and
didn't load it evenly before takeoff. The tail then
clipped a rock and you saw the result.
Pretty much the same thing happened in '93.

exactly Far_away .. totally bad combination ,
especially for something as inefficient as a helicopter
.. I bet the guy knew he was in trouble right after he
left the pad .. seemed like he hovered there an awful
long time , like something wasnt right.. went down the
hill trying to get momentum ..

Pilot tried to get out of there before he landed on
those people he just dropped off. Nice flying, and
awesome first/second aid going on too. Very
professional.
