Not only labs, shepherds and bulldogs to, i bet more. They are related to breed but to more then one. I don't understand why ppl buy a dog with fucked up genes and a distinct possibility the animal gets sick. That's like taking a down-syndrome kid deliberately :?:?

oberon

Who cares what the dog looks like if it lives in constant suffer :?:?

bulldog

in the same way that dutch people are vulnerable to flu, but fijian people are overweight! and not that i feel that i owe you an explanation, but my dog was a rescue dog!

who would keep a constantly suffering dog?

oberon

a rescue dog? like in rescuing people? With a nose like that? You english are too patriotic then i guess. We train the best prof. dogs of all kind in the netherland. Crossbreeds of Dutch sheperds with something (beer)(beer)

bulldog

farmers keep animals in a constant state of suffering, is that ok?

oberon
On May 02, 2007 bulldog wrote: who would keep a constantly suffering dog?
Does you dog tell you how much the cherry-eye suffered him? Does he tell you? dogs don't want to be weak nor do they want to look weak, that's when the pack would leave it.

oberon
On May 02, 2007 bulldog wrote: farmers keep animals in a constant state of suffering, is that ok?
Not all farmers, conventional farmers, bio-industry, yes that is bad too, should be banned, but it won't be as long as you buy it...

oberon
Animals can't tell that well when they suffer, certainly not like people. Pure breeds have always the tendency for inhereted disease, and the people who buy them are responsible for keeping the bad business going

bulldog
once again you should try and conceal your ignorance, a rescue dog comes from a dogs home, and crossbreeds, especially those of shepperd dogs, are the most prolific biters;)

oberon
That would be a 'rescued dog' then. And well done you took it from the shelter. Then you must agree with me on breeding healthy dogs!:?

I dont knwo the word prolific, But crossbreeds dont bite more then others, that crap! They live 1.5-2 times longer then 'pure breeds' though, that is a fact. Im off, later

bulldog

i dont need your patronising "and well done" or you corrections of my english, (its a rescue dog;) i also agree healthy dogs are good, in the same way, im sure, we both agree nuclear war is bad:D

Look, I think dogs need lots of attention and exercise. I don't know you and your dogs, but most of them get to few of both. And I really believe non pure breed life longer and have fewer illnesses, no i know it. That would be it, have a good night everybody (beer)(beer)
