[/quote] howd that happen :? dillfly2000 3 years ago firefox and IE is alot like linux and windows, windows is easy to use and very user friendly... but has many problems witch cannot be fixed easily due to not being open sourced. like windows, ie can only be fixed by microsoft and the only public user support is based on fixing the problems on the outside (until an update is released). linux on the other hand, has public code (open source) which can be edited by anybody with the proper knowlede,, making it easier to fix a problem without waiting for a patch or update. just like linux, firefox can be edited to suit the user because it is also open sourced. i use windows and i love it, but ie had way more problems than firfox, and not to mention how easy it is do get viruses, spyware, trojans(ha ha) when using ie, i am a computer technician, and most of the computers that i have cleaned, fixed and antivirused, were 90% caused by IE. jappie 3 years ago dilllfly its not true what you are saying!!
