Scientists have shown that we should be in beginning stage of the next ice age. We've already had the 'warm period'. The warming you are seeing now, I think is offset by the cooling which should be taking place atm. If you account for the cooling and then add what our warming is doing, we're actually doing alot more warming than we realise...
