This is a clip of a staged flyover. The pilot is amazingly precise in his movements allowing him to fly extremely close to the reporter and camera crew. Still, I don't know if I'd trust anyone that much.

Their inability to dive was due to fuel being forced out of the carburettor in negative g. RAF pilots overcame this by half rolling their spitfire before launching into a steep dive. The introduction of the 'Miss shillings orifice' (essentially a holed diaphragm fitted across the float chambers) went to to almost eliminate the problem.
